Viruses and hackers!!! They are becoming more and more sophisticated. I have studied them and know how to protect networks and computers from them. With advancements in social engineering it is becoming harder and harder for an average user to detect what’s going on that is where I come in. I aspire to pursue the following; - Server and Network administration working with both Windows and Linux - Security and reduction of latency - Application development for mac and i devices - Game design and development for iPhone and android devices, and network programing For the past four years at University my studies included Information Security. C++, Java, Assembler, Cryptography, Antivirus development and Network Security (VPN, PPTP, iPSEC, Certificates, etc.) are some of my areas of strength. I do have practical experience working with both hardware and software, as well as customer interface gained whilst working for an Apple products service provider. Exposure to application development for Mac has fueled my desire to learn more. Other activities during my 4-year program comprise of teaching English as a second language in Russia, administrator in a Youth Hostel and , I gained skills in public speaking, communication and presentation. I am a hardworking, strategic, analytic, have the ability to think, prioritize and thrive under pressure, Self-motivated, driven and I just really love IT ever since I got my first computer at 11 years old. From the years I spent working in a hostel and Solution Centre, I have learnt how to work in a team with others as well as lead a team. I believe prevention and preparedness will enable any organization o harvest the best from IT applications. I am eager to join a vibrant team and avail a functional, safe and secure IT platform.
